This Privacy Policy explains how InstantMoon Sp. z o.o. ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use the Heyoppa mobile application, the Heyoppa website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Heyoppa is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information under this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Heyoppa, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information collection and use

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, pictures, location, email address, and postal address. Information required to operate your account may be stored on our systems and by service providers acting on our behalf. Some information may also be stored locally on your device. We use this information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Sign in with Google and Google user data

Heyoppa allows you to create or access your Heyoppa account using Google Sign-In. When you choose Google Sign-In, Heyoppa may receive information associated with your Google Account, including your Google Account identifier, email address, name, and profile picture, depending on the information made available by Google and the permissions you grant.

We use this Google user data only to:

authenticate you and allow you to sign in to Heyoppa;
create and maintain your Heyoppa account;
associate your Heyoppa account with your Google sign-in method; and
display account information, such as your name or profile picture, where applicable within the Service.

We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes. We do not access your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google services unless a separate feature clearly requests that access and you grant the relevant permission.

Google user data received by Heyoppa may be stored as part of your Heyoppa account for as long as your account remains active or as otherwise described in the Data retention and deletion section of this Privacy Policy. We do not sell Google user data. We do not share Google user data with third parties except where necessary to provide and secure the Service, to comply with applicable law, or where you have explicitly authorized such sharing. Service providers that process this information on our behalf are required to use it only to perform the services we have engaged them to provide.

You may revoke Heyoppa’s access to your Google Account through your Google Account connection settings. Revoking Google access does not automatically delete your Heyoppa account. You may delete your Heyoppa account and associated data as described in the Data retention and deletion section below.

Heyoppa’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Log data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, configuration of the app when utilising our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that is commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and to improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies, and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Service providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

To facilitate our Service;
To provide the Service on our behalf;
To perform Service-related services; or
To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to your Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of those websites. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s privacy

This Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes and in compliance with applicable laws. If you decide to stop using our services, you can delete your account, and your profile will no longer be visible to other members. Please note that we will automatically delete your account if it is inactive for two years.

You can delete your account and data at any time on the app by going to “About me” and “Delete my account”. When you delete your Account or it is deactivated by us, the system will process of deleting your personal information from our systems, unless:

We must keep it to comply with applicable law (for instance, if you make purchases within the App, some personal data may need to be kept for tax and accounting purposes).
We must keep it to evidence our compliance with applicable law (for example, if an account is blocked, we keep some account information and a record of the behaviour that led to the block — this information is retained for evidential purposes in case of queries or legal claims concerning the block).
There is an outstanding issue, claim or dispute requiring us to keep the relevant information until it is resolved; or the information must be kept for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing Users’ safety and security (for example, information may need to be kept to prevent a user who was banned for unsafe behaviour or security incidents from opening a new account).

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
