How Heyoppa updates work, and where to find the release notes for the version you are running.
Where the release notes live
Every Heyoppa release publishes its notes on the store you installed from, next to the version number:
- Heyoppa on the App Store — see “What’s New”.
- Heyoppa on Google Play — see “What’s new”.
Keeping the app up to date
Turn on automatic updates and you will not have to think about it. On iPhone that is Settings → App Store → App Updates; on Android it is Play Store → your profile → Settings → Network preferences → Auto-update apps.
Some releases are required rather than optional — a version that is too old to talk to our servers safely will ask you to update before you can carry on. Installing the update from your store is all that is needed.
Something broke after an update?
Restart the app first; that clears most one-off problems, including diamonds that appear not to have credited. If it persists, write to [email protected] with your device, your OS version and the app version, and we will look into it.
